This trip with Captain Carl and his trainee Jordan turned out to be one of my finest trips I've made in my 30 year career as a flight attendant. One day and night away from the world in the most wonderful lodge in the middle of nowhere. Carl is a real conaisseur of wildlife and still seems fascinated when he sees a crocodile, as if it was his first time seeing one. He's a very good host. The lodge has a soul. It's constructed with love and taste.

A must do trip for everyone, as well as  for every flight crew with a one day layover.

Best Day of my life! This was a great canal trip that opened my eyes to a whole new world. We started on an informative boat ride around the canal. Our captain Carl was very knowledgable about the inner workings of the canal system.

Experiencing the monkeys in their environment, as opposed to seeing them in a zoo, is just breathtaking. What a great privilege it was to do this. The houseboat you are taken to is very comfortable and there is plenty of space. The lunch that was prepared for us was delicious and there was plenty to eat. It was also fun jumping off the houseboat into the water.
